Starting with inshore, it seems as if a nice body of Fluke have moved into the inlets, Frank over at Chasing Tails Tackle has been doing a great job in the Great South Bay with Fluke up to 5lbs! Ocean Fluke has also been good with our friends from Gypsea Charters to the west scoring with some nice doormats out of Jamaica Bay! Scott Leonard of Top Gun has still been doing real well with Striped Bass out in Montauk. The Inshore Tuna bite (50 Miles max) has slowed but hasn’t stopped. Guys going out to the Coimbra and Bacardi and in between are still managing to pick away at nice Blue Fins with a couple of Yellow Fin mixed in. Even closer the Mahi have invaded all the buoys and debris as close as 20 miles out. The OffShore front is also still producing Big Eyes, yellows and also some nice marlins. Tony Sr. Has been doing a number on the tuna in the Canyons. Still plenty to do, still plenty of fish still lots of time! Get up, go out and get em!!
